Critical Voices Under Threat in Saudi Arabia
Hala Al-Dosari is a scholar in women's social determinants of health, activist and writer from Saudi Arabia. She currently resides in the United States. She serves as an advisory board member in several human rights organizations focusing on the Middle East and Saudi Arabia. She was also the first inaugural fellow of the Khashoggi fellowship at the Washington Post. Her advocacy for women's rights has been recognized with several prestigious awards, such as the Freedom award from house in 2016 and the Alison Des Forges Award from Human Rights Watch in 2018.
